WAYFINDING MAPS ARE INSTALLED

Come check out our beautiful maps of North Lawndale.

Way-finding maps have been installed in the eight gardens whose gardeners had worked with Working Bikes to secure a grant from SPIN. This made the design, fabrication and installationof the maps possible, at locations where the grant had allowed for bike-racks to be set last summer.

Each garden is represented by an Adinkra symbol that speaks about their mission and values. This one is at the Love Blooms Here Plaza at the corner of Douglass Boulevard and Central Park Avenue.

The map was finalized by @karlihonrothdesign with a concept by @kaharirastafari thanks to @ridespin and @workingbikes Check them out. Visit all eight gardens and discover North Lawndale’s community effort towards Greening, Open Space, Water, Soil and Sustainability. #northlawndalewayfinding
