The GROWSS Youth Council is a collaboration between Stone Temple Baptist Church, UCAN, Homan Grown, Urban Growers Collective, Lawndale Pop-Up Spot, North Lawndale Community Coordinating Council, and Lincoln Park Zoo (LPZ). The goal of this collaboration is to create confident leaders to build relationships with each other, their neighbors and nature in order to create a healthier, more vibrant community.
New for 2023: This spring and summer, youth council members will work on projects designed to connect people to nature through social media, attend community engagement opportunities, and more.The youth council is open to anyone ages 16–22. This application is for both the spring and summer sessions of the youth council; accepted applicants must commit for the entire duration of the program (April 27–August 1).
